At the edge of Permaculture & Nonviolent Communication

In permaculture, edges are the places where two natural systems meet. The plants, animals and people at an edge have access to the resources and conditions from both systems. Edges give rise to more diversity, creativity and innovation.
At the edge of permaculture and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), we discover a unique blend of tools and concepts that can be used to create more sustainable and harmonious flows of energy in our personal lives and in organisations. Even though they have different roots and traditionally have had different areas of focus, permaculture and Nonviolent Communication offer complementary visions; taking care of people and the Earth goes hand-in-hand with enriching life. With a permaculture and NVC lens of the world, we recognise that people care and Earth care are connected to our collective needs for survival and sustenance. We can learn skills, new and old, based on an understanding of the importance of cooperation and interdependence for our physical and social well-being.
Come learn more! On June 6, we will be facilitating a one-day workshop, called Inner Landscape, Inner Peace, blending tools and concepts from permaculture, Nonviolent Communication and body-based learning.
We also offer coaching and consulting using these tools to guide personal and organisational visioning processes. Please contact us to learn more: 613-267-1926 or bonitaford[at]gmail[dot]com
